The School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation is committed to supporting the authorship and publishing movement in the fields of Arabic calligraphy, ornamentation, and manuscript arts. This commitment stems from the belief that preserving these arts is not achieved through practice alone, but also requires documenting knowledge and producing sound academic and educational references. The School strives to enrich the Arabic and global library with specialised publications that combine authenticity with academic methodology, serving artists, students, researchers, and cultural institutions, while also encouraging authors, calligraphers, and researchers to publish their works and highlight their scientific and artistic output.
The current school releases include:
The Academic Foundations of Botanical Decoration Art – Prepared by Mosaab Aldouri.
Geometric Decoration: Rules and Principles – Prepared by Mustafa Sidqi.
Thuluth Script Book – Calligrapher Mohsen Nassar.
Improve your handwriting (standard cursive) – Calligrapher Mohamed Abu El-Magd.
