The School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation is a specialised art school in Fujairah, UAE. It was established in 2023 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Alsharqi.
The school is dedicated to the traditional arts of the book, including calligraphy, ornamentation, gilding, miniatures, nature drawing and painting, and bookbinding. We offer a comprehensive intensive programme as well as short and long courses, available in-person in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, and online.

At the School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation, we take pride in welcoming all members of our creative community. That’s why we offer a free creative space for anyone seeking a place to practice their craft and artistic work. Additional support from instructors is also available when present.
