As part of the 2025 Art Week events, taking place in the Emirate of Fujairah from October 20th to 24th, a musical evening titled "Music of Manuscripts" was held. The event was presented by the Fujairah Philharmonic Orchestra in collaboration with the School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation, at Al Seef Offices Centre – 15th floor, at the Orchestra's headquarters in Fujairah.
The evening came to reflect the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, in supporting culture and arts and uniting various forms of creativity under one umbrella, as the orchestra presented a musical experience inspired by the spirit of Arabic manuscripts and their artistic aesthetics, within a framework that highlights the integration between authenticity and modernity.
Commenting on the event, Dr. Israa Al Hamal, Director-General of the Fujairah School for Calligraphy and Ornamentation, explained that the cooperation with the Fujairah Philharmonic Orchestra is a translation of the emirate's vision in integrating diverse arts and expanding the concept of Islamic art to include human and cultural dialogue, stressing that Fujairah has today become a pioneering centre embracing creativity in all its fields.
