The 99 Names of God in Geometric Kufic Script – Short Course – September to December 2026 – Remote every Monday

Course Description

A practical course that introduces participants to geometric Kufic script through the design of a selected collection of the Most Beautiful Names of Allah within clear and balanced compositions.
Participants learn how to construct letters and words on a geometric grid, adjust the relationship between the line and the space, and distribute masses within the composition.
The course does not require any prior experience.

Period September–December 2026.
Course Language: English, with Arabic support when needed.
Course duration: 20 training hours.
Duration: 10 sessions, at two hours per session.

Fees

Base price 600 United Arab Emirates dirhams.

About the Teacher

Elif Hala Gökçen is a calligrapher and teacher from Turkey living in Fujairah, with over ten years of experience in classical Arabic scripts.
In its teaching, it relies on graded explanation and individual correction.

In person in Fujairah – the School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation.

Certificate
A minimum of 90% of training hours must be attended.
