In an atmosphere filled with passion and precision, the Calligraphy and Ornamentation School in Fujairah presented the “Theuluth Creativity” course as part of the intensive Arabic calligraphy arts programme, under the supervision of Egyptian calligrapher Professor Mohsen Nassar, one of the most prominent specialists in this authentic art. The course spanned weeks of learning and practice, during which participants experienced a rich artistic journey that combined technical mastery with aesthetic contemplation. They were introduced to the secrets of letter formation, the balance of lines, and the precision of proportions that distinguish Theuluth script from other Arabic scripts.

The students excelled in carrying out practical exercises that focused on writing individual letters, then progressing to word and sentence structures with balanced and fluid handwriting. Professor Mohsen ensured that he accompanied each step with explanations and technical analysis, presenting the history of this calligraphy, its diverse schools, and its styles that have evolved through the ages. The workshop atmosphere was clearly vibrant, as participants exchanged expertise and experiences in an encouraging and inspiring educational environment.

Professor Mohsen Nassar, who holds a bachelor's degree from Al-Azhar University, has over twenty years of experience teaching Arabic calligraphy. He is a member of the organising committee for the Fujairah International Arabic Calligraphy Competition and has won numerous international awards in this field. His style combines academic precision with a refined artistic sensibility, making every lesson he delivers a true journey into understanding authentic Arab beauty. This course confirms that Thuluth calligraphy remains vibrant in the hearts of the new generation, just as the early calligraphers intended centuries ago.
