Welcome to The School of Calligraphy & Ornamentation Courses
All our courses are certified by Continuing Professional Development Certification from the United Kingdom known as CPD and is internationally recognised.
The first term in SOCO is from 22nd September to 12th December 2024.
You must register for the full three months if you would like to get the CPD certification.
There are three options to attend our certified creative courses:
- In-person in our Fujairah branch
- In-person in our Dibba branch
- Online on Zoom
The focus in term one is on foundation courses in Indian miniature, illuminated ornamentation, Islamic geometric shapes and Arabic Calligraphy.
Notes:
- Some students of Term 1 and Term 2 will be able to join us on a school trip to Alhambra Palace in Spain. Click here to read more about it.
- We also offer grants for exceptionally creative people for our online courses. Please click here to read more and apply for the grant.
- Students who study with us in Term 1 or Term 2 will be able to display their final artworks in World Art Dubai, the international exhibition. Please click here to read more.
