Introduction to Islamic geometry.

About

The workshop takes participants on a practical journey to explore the aesthetics of Islamic geometric decoration and its historical and contemporary significance, while learning the basics of creating shapes using compass and rulers, just as ancient craftsmen did. Participants will learn how to leverage these traditional structures in modern applications, including digital design, contemporary products, and architecture. By the end of the workshop, each participant will be able to create simple geometric models, gaining a deeper appreciation for traditional methods and their potential to inspire contemporary artistic practices.
