The School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation in Fujairah welcomed a joyful group of around 40 children from Al-Jalilah Nursery, aged between 4 and 5 years old, for an educational and recreational visit designed to introduce young minds to the world of traditional arts in a simple and enjoyable way.

The visit featured two interactive workshops:
Origami Workshopwhere the children learned the basics of paper folding and created charming shapes with their tiny hands.
Plate Painting Workshopwhere they unleashed their imagination using bright colours to decorate plates in a cheerful and expressive artistic activity.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and engagement, as the children enthusiastically participated under the careful supervision of the school team and nursery staff. This hands-on artistic experience left a positive impression on the children and helped enhance their sensory and creative skills.
This visit is part of the school’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and its active role in the cultural life of Fujairah. By opening its doors to local institutions and schools, the School of Calligraphy and Ornamentation aims to inspire young generations and plant seeds of artistic appreciation. The initiative aligns with the school’s vision to promote traditional arts in an accessible and interactive way that connects culture to everyday life.
