This course explores the refined art of Thuluth script through the historical lens of the Sabil Umm Abbas monument in Cairo. Participants will gain a deep appreciation of Islamic heritage, studying the artistic philosophy behind the monument and the exquisite calligraphy of Abdullah Zuhdi. By bridging past and present, the course preserves and transmits this cultural legacy. Comparative studies between Abdullah Zuhdi and Muhammad Sami Effendi’s styles will provide insight into their artistic directions.
