Its an introduction to illustration arts that is inspired by Islamic Manuscripts. Cover the history of Islamic illustration, identify different styles, learn about resources and manuscripts to get inspired. And draw a full illustration.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the history of Islamic illustration.
  • Identify different styles of illustration.
  • How to find inspiration from manuscripts.
  • How to draw a full illustration.

Learning Outcome:

  • Acquire an in-depth knowledge of Islamic Illustration.
  • Gain skills to find inspiration from different resources.
  • Master sketching, drawing, and detailing an illustration.

Tutor’s Biography: Mohammad Alwadee

 

 

Mohammad Alwadee is a visual artist and professional trainer specialized in tradional arts (Middle Eastern Ornament arts, Miniature Arts).

He studied Intensive Courses at the Royal institute of traditional Arts in Riyadh, and took several courses in Turkey and Greece, then ended up giving workshops and courses in different art institute.
