Glass painting is one of the arts that spread throughout the Islamic world, owing to the value of glassmaking across various scientific, functional, and aesthetic domains. The aesthetic aspect, in particular, is evident in the decoration of vessels, lanterns, and windows—such as *qamariyas*—to create reflections of light that bring joy and comfort to palaces and mosques.**
Given the variety of ways it can be used, we will employ glass and its ornamentation like enamelling and oxide colouring techniques, using modern paints specially designed for glass. This approach aims to revive and preserve a part of the rich artistic heritage of the Islamic world.
