Have you ever wanted to capture the colours, forms and textures of the natural world in watercolour? Join award winning artist, Shevaun Doherty and learn the techniques needed to paint realistic flowers and fruit in rich, luminous colour with subtle nuances of light and shade.

Learning Objectives:

Tutor’s Biography: Shevaun Doherty

Shevaun Doherty is an Irish botanical and nature artist, and current President of Society of Botanical Artists.

An award-winning artist, she exhibits regularly in Ireland and overseas, including the National Gallery Ireland 2020. Her work is part of the Irish National collection- Crawford Gallery, Cork and Natural History Museum, Dublin. She considers herself a visual storyteller, using her skills to raise awareness about conservation. She has designed four sets of Flora and Fauna National postage stamps for Ireland and artwork for the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.
